- We drove through
the gently rolling Austrian countryside past picture-postcard
villages for two nights in Vienna. In Vienna we saw St Stephen’s
Cathedral, the State Opera House and the Spanish Riding School.
We drove along the famous Ring Road, saw the Palace of the Hapsburg’s
and wandered at leisure. In Austria we also visited Mauthausen
concentration camp, and drove through the Austrian Alps and the
beautiful Tyrol.
